Medjed is a Windows desktop GPS location simulator for Android and iOS 17+. USB connection, pinpoint teleport, route playback, joystick fine-tuning. Built for LBS app testing, map development, fitness route planning, and social / travel app QA. Clean UI, 5-minute setup.
From single teleport to full route playback. One app, every location workflow.
Since v0.3.8, Medjed auto-notifies on new releases. One-click delta download (5–30 MB) + one-click restart upgrade. No more hunting Discord links, re-downloading the full 137 MB installer, and dismissing SmartScreen warnings every time.
Since v0.3.11, hit "🔌 Clear simulation before unplug" before pulling the USB cable, and your iPhone returns to real GPS within 30–60 seconds. Solves the long-standing iOS sticky-location issue where fake coordinates linger for minutes.
Since v0.3.8, the map is no longer locked during playback. Pan, zoom, and preview other coordinates (yellow 🔍 marker) — your phone won't be misdirected. Hit "🎯 Back to current" at the top of the map to return to the simulated position instantly.
Click on the map or paste coordinates to instantly move your phone's location anywhere on the planet.
Define multiple waypoints; Medjed walks the path at your chosen speed. Pause, resume, stop on demand.
On-screen virtual joystick lets you nudge direction in real time. Hold to keep moving.
Type "Tokyo Station", "Shibuya Crossing", "Times Square" — the map jumps there automatically.
Walking, jogging, cycling, driving — one-click switch. Or set a custom speed.
Bookmark frequently used locations and routes. Recall them with a single click.
Standard GPX format support. Import routes from other tools or record and share your own.
The installer bundles ADB and Python runtime. Plug in a phone on a fresh PC and you're good to go.
Connect multiple phones simultaneously. One operation moves them all in sync. Mix Android + iOS freely; pick which devices receive via checkbox.
The Companion APK is now a standalone app: built-in map / search / favorites / route playback / joystick. Push your data to your phone at home, then use it on the train or at a café — no laptop needed.
"📤 Push to phone" sends desktop data to the Companion app; edits made on the phone sync back automatically. Smart dedup + soft delete prevent duplicates.
Android 11+: skip the cable. Connect wirelessly over the same Wi-Fi network. Pair once, and Medjed auto-reconnects on every launch.
Uses Apple's official developer protocol — no jailbreak required. Since v0.3.x: iOS service auto-starts, auto-restarts, with a connection status indicator. One-click diagnostic copy when connection fails.
One-click Companion APK push, no root required. Works with all major brands (Pixel, Galaxy, Xperia, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo).
Designed for long sessions. Easy on the eyes.
Licenses bind to your machine, protecting your subscription from misuse.
No technical background required. Just follow the steps.
Grab the installer from Discord. Double-click to run, choose install location. All dependencies are bundled — no separate ADB or Python install needed.
Android: plug in USB, enable USB debugging.
iOS: install Apple Devices (search Microsoft Store) or iTunes first (Apple requires this — without it you can't connect). Plug in, trust this PC, then click "Enable iPhone Developer Mode" in Medjed for one-click activation.
Android: click "Install Companion APK" — it auto-pushes and configures.
iOS: launching Medjed auto-starts the iOS service and triggers a UAC prompt. Click "Yes". A 🟢 status light means iPhone is connected.
Click anywhere on the map → hit pinpoint teleport. Or define a route → auto-move. Use the joystick for fine direction control; bookmark frequently used coordinates.

Neither. Android uses ADB + the system's built-in "Mock Location" feature. iOS uses Apple's official developer protocol (Developer Mode + DDI). Your phone is never bricked or jailbroken.
Android 7 and above. Tested on Pixel, Galaxy, Xperia, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, and other major brands.
iOS 17 and above (including iOS 18, 26). First-time setup requires enabling "Developer Mode" on your iPhone (Medjed provides one-click activation). The whole process takes about 3 minutes.
It's an official Apple feature, not jailbreak. When enabled, Apple disables some additional protections (such as certain attestation), making it easier for third-party apps to read debug information. We recommend enabling it only while using Medjed; you can disable it anytime (Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode).
All location simulation tools can potentially be detected. Medjed uses Android's native mock location API and Apple's developer protocol — detection risk is comparable to other tools. For apps with strong detection mechanisms, evaluate the risk yourself.
Yes, Medjed controls your phone over USB. Disconnecting mid-session stops location updates. (Android 11+ supports Wi-Fi pairing as an alternative.)
Every release is publicly scanned on VirusTotal (industry standard, 52+ antivirus engines simultaneously). Latest v0.4.0 result: 0 / 52 engines flagged — completely clean.
📋 Full report: VirusTotal report (v0.4.0)
About the "unknown publisher" SmartScreen warning: We haven't purchased a Code Signing certificate yet, so Windows shows a warning during installation. Click "More info → Run anyway" to proceed. We plan to adopt Azure Trusted Signing in upcoming releases to remove this warning.
In the VirusTotal report you may notice the inner $R0/Uninstall Medjed GPS.exe flagged by 1–2 obscure engines. This is a well-known false positive for NSIS installer uninstallers (self-deletion behavior misclassified by heuristic AI). Every software shipped via NSIS (Discord, OBS, Steam client, etc.) has hit this. The main installer itself is 0/52 clean, and major antivirus engines (Microsoft Defender, Kaspersky, Avast, Malwarebytes, ESET) all show clean.
Open source tools (pymobiledevice3, ADB, etc.) have always been around. If you're comfortable with the command line, can set up the environment yourself, and don't mind debugging issues on your own — those are great choices. Medjed isn't competing with open source. What we sell is the time you save by not assembling 5–7 tools yourself (one installer covers it all), the peace of mind of having someone to call when things break, and the commitment of ongoing maintenance (12 releases in the past 3 months). If you want to start using a tool in 5 minutes and avoid pitfalls, Medjed is built for you.
